Jen Senecal is a Senior Writer for Providence Monthly, an area premiere lifestyle publication, where she pens monthly feature articles, as well as a handful of columns. Jen covers topics ranging from pet adoption programs to holiday entertainment to lifestyle issues, and has been assigned the cover story on more than one occassion.
Working for Providence Monthly has led to many interesting endeavors for Jen--such as crashing the Mayor's holiday party or hunting down the state's bounty hunters. There isn't a story too racy, dull or untouchable for Jen, and she gladly dives into each feature head first with intentions to deliver the best coverage. As a journalist, Jen has had the fortunate opportunity of meeting and interviewing new and interesting people--something she truly cherishes.
Her monthly columns include reviewing new technological gadgets, apparrel product spreads, and featuring a"bartender of the month" (which has done wonders for her social life).
She was also the stylist for one of Providence Monthly's bi-annual fashion issues, in which she styled, coordinated and wrote copy for the photo shoot held at the local zoo.
Jen's affinity to writing doesn't stop with her freelance work. Her passion keeps her busy with blogging, submitting essays into contests and being that friend who writes novels posed as emails.
She met her co-author, Lisa, by participating in her writing workshops, seminars and coaching sessions. With appreciation and admiration for each other's writing style, together they wrote The Insider's Guide to Writing Your Best Book in 60 Days .
